Busy!

Sorry about not writing this past week. Things are pretty dang busy for Tom and me. This weekend is wrestling districts for Tom and next week he will have state with the qualifying guys and I will have Mock Trial competition with my team. That means lots of practices for both of us. And there are these wedding details that still need to be decided. So, any time we have together in the evening is often used to discuss those things.

But...we are down to two weeks!! I am so excited!!

What does that say?

I thought you guys would all get a kick out of this students paper that got turned in to me today. First heading with my name to be on it! They are practicing how to say it, too. One girl asked today because she kept thinking of linguini. Not quite!

Our REI adventure

We decided on REI as our second place to register!! Tents and sleeping bags and camping cookware..... oh my! We also found some more personal items (see below). If you look for the item below on the registry you will not find it.... Tom could not decide on what color to get. The scanner at REI was super cool and easy to use. Tom actually let me use it this time around.

We are down to less than four weeks to go!! Whooeee! It has been so much fun to get your messages RSVPing for the celebration. We are so excited to see everyone on our big day!!

Registering

Well... we went to Bed Bath and Beyond last night to register. But first let me tell you that I told Janell that I would call to see if we need to set up an appointment or if we could just show up. So I called and asked them about wedding registry, I was told "oh you mean bridal registry", I said "okay," and they transferred me to someone else where I asked about wedding registry and I was told "oh... bridal registry", I said "okay," and we continued to talk when my tongue slipped and I said, "wedding registry," again and I was promptly corrected by the wedding specialist "you mean bridal registry," I said "okay," and with that I am quickly learning my new found role in this whole process. After an hour and a half or more we were getting hungry and tired and my parents were there so we decided to leave and go get something to eat and finish with the BRIDAL registry another night. We do have lots of items that we scanned (which was pretty fun) but we need to go back and scan some linens.

So we know it is getting close so we would like to go register and one more place, we are thinking Home Depot or REI. What do you guys think? We are down to 4 weeks and 5 days, I am getting more excited to marry Janell everyday and I can't wait until March 6th for that to happen and then to celebrate it with our friends and family.
