Disney!

Every year there is a national beekeeping conference and my parents regularly attend and they always invite Tom along. This year the conference was in Anaheim at the Disneyland Hotel so with a bit of prodding the boys and I went along, too.

We had a great time despite not being 100% healthy prior to the trip or really on it either.

Some highlights --

At the lego store.
Corbin wouldn't get in the picture and Cole had just had a legendary diaper blowout but it was Goofy right outside our hotel.
Thursday night we went to Medieval Times with a bunch of other beekeepers. Knights and horses and sword fights! Oh my! Corbin could not take his eyes off of it all. Wow!
Tom took Cole with him to the conference where he (Cole) slept but Corbin and I went into Disneyland! Here we are about to load onto our first ride!
Corbin helping me with the map.
We are almost ready for the Peter Pan ride. By far, my favorite one with Corbin.
Seeing Mickey Mouse for the first time in the parade.
We were standing in line at a ride and we realized cole had a straw that he was chewing on. But neither of us had given him one or had a drink with one. Best case scenario - he stole it from a drink on a nearby stroller. Worst case? Ugh!!
We met Captain America!
In Bugs life world.
We got to see Jake and the Neverland Pirates perform. Perfect for the boy who watches them over and over on netflix. It was a perfect show for him.
Cole found the tissues!!
It is exhausting having so much fun!
One of the fun things about the hotel - this is the night light above the bed.

Lots of fun adventures! We had a long time recovering after, but that can be the next post.

  1. Looks like a fun trip. I don't have it in me to take the girls to Disneyland . . . yet. Maybe when they're older . . . but hopefully before I get too old :)
