Dads Turn

Mom went out for a girls night at the movies. Dad was in charge. They built a fort and watched a show inside. 

And this happened...

Hmmm....good thing mom came home by 9:30. :)

Quick and funny story for you- 

Once a month I participate in a book club sponsored by Classroom Law Project. We are all teachers (with a few attorneys mixed in) who are reading books about the Constitution. I love it!

Anyway, we meet at the Lucky Lab on Hawthorne so we can eat dinner as we chat. I have to go directly from school in order to make it in time. So right now that means I must take with me the milk that I pumped during the school day. 

So after I ordered my meal (super yummy BLT) I asked for a couple scoops of ice to add to my large ziploc bag where my precious bottles were. Instead, the guy offered to put the bottles in the beer cooler until my meeting was over. :)

Pretty awesome, huh? I thought that was pretty good customer service and a pretty funny visual, too. I wonder if it caused any of the other workers a double take at the cooler. 

Also, when I collected them before I left I made a comment about being happy that they were still there. The guy let me know that he hadn't even been tempted.

Busy!

There is not enough time in the day to do all that I need to do let alone all that I want to do. But let me post a couple pictures when I should be asleep. 

Corbin got 5 stitches in his chin after an unfortunate playground experience. It was a long night for us. Thank goodness for grandparents when daddy is working late. 

Easter was good. Easter egg hunt on Saturday at a local fruit stand and on Sunday with family. And replayed a few more times at home since. 

Corbin is a ninja!
